Responsibilities • Develop a strong understanding of customer motivations, preferences, and behaviour; monitor buying patterns and gather feedback from shoppers. • Stay updated on industry movements and propose actions to respond to current trends while anticipating upcoming shifts in consumer demand. • Oversee inventory planning, anticipate fluctuations in demand and supply, and address any logistics-related issues. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to introduce new items, execute promotional activities, boost visibility for both new and existing products, and revitalise slower categories. • Evaluate current product assortments to ensure competitiveness in terms of range and pricing. • Support the development of exclusive products, including permit applications, coordinating quality checks, gathering market intelligence, arranging samples, and ensuring timely submission of required documentation. • Work with various departments to explore fresh ideas and initiatives that stimulate sales. • Take responsibility for brand/category performance, driving revenue growth and optimising margins to meet profitability goals. • Monitor return on investment (ROI) to ensure financial targets for the fiscal year are met. • Keep informed of market changes and developments that may influence brand strategy, marketing efforts, or competitive positioning. • Identify opportunities to increase customer engagement and brand presence. • Partner with the marketing team to ensure campaigns, communications, and marketing materials are aligned, consistent, and delivered on schedule. • Maintain close partnership with suppliers and vendors to ensure cohesive brand-building efforts aimed at achieving sales and margin objectives. • Actively collaborate across internal teams to contribute to a seamless and positive customer experience. Requirements • A Degree in Business Management, Sales & Marketing, or a related field. • 5 years of hands-on experience within a fast-paced environment. • Strong analytical abilities, numeracy skills, and solid commercial judgment with a strategic mindset. • Well-organized, confident, and equipped with strong negotiation capabilities; able to manage priorities and deliver results within tight timelines. • Energetic, proactive, and capable of leading and motivating a team effectively. • Demonstrates high levels of initiative, integrity, professionalism, and the ability to perform well under pressure. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong time management, interpersonal, and team leadership abilities. • Sound decision-making capabilities.
