DESCRIPTION:
As Director of Engineering – AWS Cloud/DevOps, you will lead the evolution of cloud infrastructure, DevOps strategy, and AI-driven operational capabilities. This strategic leadership role combines technical excellence with operational innovation across cloud architecture, automation, observability, developer experience, and AI operationalization. The goal is to ensure the platform is scalable, resilient, secure, and intelligent, driving modernization and operational excellence.
You’ll define and execute strategies for AWS cloud environments, CI/CD automation, infrastructure-as-code, and AIOps, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Collaboration with engineering teams, security, and stakeholders will be key to delivering high availability, cost efficiency, and intelligent automation.
What You’ll Do:
• Strategic Leadership: Define and lead CloudOps + DevOps strategy aligned with business goals
• AWS Cloud Architecture: Design and evolve secure, fault-tolerant AWS environments
• Automation & Developer Experience: Drive CI/CD, release automation, and infrastructure-as-code practices
• AI-Driven Operations: Implement predictive scaling, anomaly detection, and intelligent monitoring
• Security & Compliance: Maintain strong cloud security posture and regulatory compliance
• Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing engineering operations team
REQUIREMENTS:
• 10+ years in software engineering with expertise in CloudOps, DevOps, and AIOps
• Hands-on experience with AWS architecture and operational automation
• Strong background in CI/CD, container orchestration, observability, and DevSecOps
• Experience operationalizing ML/AI systems and AIOps frameworks
• Skilled in PostgreSQL, SQL Server, DynamoDB, MongoDB
• Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
• Excellent communication and mentorship abilities
