Developer - Python Pandas Dataframe w Java - Job Description: The successful candidate will support the upgrade of Windows database servers from version 2016 to 2022, collaborating closely with cross-functional technology teams. This role also involves implementing integration solutions by building new data feeds in Python Pandas dataframe to provide to downstream applications and assisting with testing activities to ensure minimal disruption. Developer - Python Pandas Dataframe w Java - Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deliver highly complex applications with a focus on accuracy, performance, security, and user experience. Work with Sr. Management/Director to drive strategy to modernize market risk management platforms. Participate in the design, development, and implementation of solutions that resolve complex business problems. Utilize diverse technologies to implement new systems or enhance existing implementations. Ensure delivery meets quality and reliability requirements through automated testing and DevOps principles. Coordinate infrastructure needs for requisitioning Windows Servers and Cloud-based infrastructure. Developer - Python Pandas Dataframe w Java - Mandatory Skills: 10+ Years as a Developer 5+ years of experience in Python with knowledge of pandas dataframes and at least one Python web framework (e.g., Flask) 3+ years of strong development experience in Java, Springboot, Swing GUI, JDK 21 10+ years of recent experience with MS SQL Experience working fluently in a Linux environment with Linux command line and shell script Experience with DevOps and continuous delivery methodologies using Bitbucket, Jenkins Cloudbees Experience with cloud-based applications and microservices (GCP) Developer - Python Pandas Dataframe w Java Nice-to-Have Skills: Exposure to Apache Airflow Exposure to Nifi Market risk or financial risk experience Developer - Python Pandas Dataframe w Java Assignment Length: This is a 6 month contract position.
