As a Technology & Security Intern, you will support the Technology and Security team in maintaining and improving systems that safeguard our organization's infrastructure and data. What you can expect to do here:
• Assist with monitoring and maintaining security system design (e.g., access control, video surveillance).
• Provide support on IT infrastructure design
• Participate in vulnerability assessments and help track remediation efforts.
• Document processes, update technical guides, and contribute to compliance reporting.
• Collaborate with team members on technology and security projects, ensuring timely delivery.
• Provide general technical support for security-related tools and platforms.
What you'll bring to WSP:
• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Computer Science, Information Technology, physical security, or related field.
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and security principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; familiarity with security software is an asset.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Able to obtain federal security clearance
Compensation
Salary range (in British Columbia): $24.00 - $31.75
The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
