Role Description
The Technical Pre-Sales Enterprise Architect (EA) serves as the primary technical driver for closing strategic sales opportunities and enabling customer success through marketing technology value realization. For Adobe’s Top 50 customers, the EA partners with Technical, Marketing, and C-Suite stakeholders to assess current-state technology and business objectives, deliver future-state marketing architectures, manage digital engagement roadmaps, and showcase “Art of the Possible” experiences.
Minimum Qualifications
• Past experience in a lead consultative role supporting large-scale enterprise digital marketing ecosystems as an Architect, Principal Consultant or Marketing/Technical leader.
• Working knowledge of end-to-end digital marketing MarTech, such as CDPs, Marketing Automation, omni-channel personalization, Journey Orchestration, Measurement and Optimization, Content Management, Content Generation, Digital Asset Management (DAM), Tag Management and Data Collection, Identity and Consent Management, CRM, Media Execution, Social Media Management, Reporting/Insights, and multi-channel activation.
• Demonstrated ability aligning diverse stakeholders, managing dependencies, and driving schedule adherence to achieve strategic deal closure.
• Significant hands-on experience using enterprise platforms (Adobe, Salesforce, Oracle, Microsoft, etc.) with an emphasis on REST APIs, Cloud Storage, Structured/Unstructured Data, Security and Data Ingress/Egress.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, value-focused narratives for technical, marketing, and executive audiences.
• Skilled at diagnosing business and technical gaps and creating forward-looking architectures aligned to strategic outcomes and measurable business value
• Strong written and verbal communications skills with particular expertise in PowerPoint and Lucid Chart/Visio
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time within the United States
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (CS), Digital Marketing or MBA or equivalent experience
Skills that Set You Apart
• One or more current Adobe Certified Expert certifications in Adobe (RTCDP, AJO, Analytics/CJA, AEM, Target or Workfront)
• Recent experience building enterprise level ROI-focused Business Cases for technology transformations
• Hands-on experience architecting and/or delivering native, Flutter or React-Native mobile applications
• Deep understanding of B2B marketing strategies, buying journeys, and account-based engagement models.
• Experience managing a Book of Business, including overseeing the ecosystem to drive deal closure, performing scope and contract reviews, and tracking value realization.
• Experience with AI technologies and ability to support AI adoption in marketing use cases, accelerating onboarding to Adobe solutions and driving measurable customer success.
• Proficiency with leveraging Generative and/or Agentic AI solutions.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $170,300 -- $280,300 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
