Vulnerability Management are responsible for the development and delivery of our Managed Services offerings
This is a challenging position, which calls for excellent customer service skills, the ability to articulate solutions clearly to the end-users. The engineer must possess a high degree of technical knowledge across a broad range of Microsoft technologies and products including; Hosting, Network and Cloud technologies
• *KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Systems administration-related solutions for various project and operational needs
- Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments
- Fault finding, analysis and of logging information for reporting of performance exceptions
- Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning
- Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware
- Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment
- Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes
- Understand the low level designs, system diagrams, systems installation configuration & guides, support procedures, test plans and runbook
- Management of Server Hardware (Chassis, Blades and rack Servers) with Hypervisors and Linux/Unix OS
- Manage virtual environments including Nutanix and VxRail HCI environments
- Perform advanced problem determination and root-cause-analysis
- Plan and execute the Operation Readiness process for Infrastructure projects for transition into production support
- Act as liaison with various departments across campus.
- Support on-prem and cloud servers, including security configurations, patching, and troubleshooting.
- Configure, implement, and maintain system security strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Support infrastructure deployment models, including Private, Public, and Hybrid.
- Maintaining a general level of expertise in Code Green, Proofpoint, Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, Azure, AWS, GCP, and other Windows-based technologies.
- Ability to configure VMs and Web Applications through Azure Web Portal and Command Line Interface through PowerShell
- Participating in 24x7 on-call support rotation.
- Document and follow processes and procedures for the Windows infrastructure and systems.
- Collaborating with the team on future direction and opportunities for new technology.
