The ideal candidate will leverage blockchain analytics and financial crime expertise to conduct in-depth investigations and analysis in support of Coinbase's BSA/AML program. They will review higher-risk cases referred by partner teams, apply investigatory techniques to ambiguous complex fact patterns, and maintain the highest ethical standards.
The role requires a strong understanding of a broad range of financial product offerings across the financial services industry. The successful candidate will be able to evaluate AML and fraud-related alerting activity, initiate 314(b) requests, and conduct Continuing Activity Reviews (CARs) as needed.
Coinbase offers a competitive salary range of $99,365 USD - $116,900 USD, depending on location. We also provide bonus eligibility, equity eligibility, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). This is a mid-career level position with 3-5 years relevant experience conducting AML investigations, SAR preparation, and filing.
