Job Title: Café Supervisor
Location: Near Bank Station, London
Salary: £16 per hour
Contract Type: Full-time
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Shift Pattern: Between 07:30 and 18:00 (8 hours per day)
Holiday Entitlement: 20 days plus Bank Holidays
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Café Supervisor to lead the front-of-house team at one of our prestigious London locations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced café environment, enjoys leading a team, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. As a Café Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, ensure smooth service delivery, and act as a key link between the front-of-house and kitchen teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise the café’s front-of-house service team
• Oversee service setup and close-down procedures
• Liaise with the kitchen regarding food requirements and service coordination
• Lead and motivate colleagues throughout service, setting a positive example
• Maintain high levels of customer care and respond positively to guest requests
• Promote and apply upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities
• Manage daily food and non-food ordering procedures and maintain stock levels
• Operate tills, process payments, and handle customer transactions accurately
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in all service areas before, during, and after shifts
• Maintain professional displays, counters, and seating areas
• Assist with weekly rota planning for front-of-house staff
• Comply with company policies, health and safety regulations, and food safety standards
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 2–4 years in a similar role, preferably within a café or hospitality environment

• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Organised, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Qualifications:
