Key Activities
- Ensure all solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment
- Develop System solutions for Services to respond to Request for Proposals as per the overall Solution Strategy set by the Solution Architect;
- Attends Technical discussion meetings to gather the required information for the High-Level Technical Design Specification creation, and to make sure that the client requirements are correctly covered in the provided solution;
- Conducts solution Assurance Review; Supporting the definition of which IT products should be considered for the Approved Product List based on cost benefit analysis and research;
- Conducts Customer presentation of Technical Solution to Customer stake holders;
- Develops pre-sales technical solution proposal and documents Assumptions and Risks in the Risk Log;
- Develops post sales High Level design documents and conducts delivery handover and signoff; Defines inter-dependencies and identifies dependencies at various different stages of design deployment;
- Lead the Discover and Due Diligence and Guides technical implementation team on the approach and technical functions during the project deployment;
- To work with Implementation Engineering, Applications Services and Customer representatives to create Technical designs focused on their build and operability validity;
- Completes the Technical Design Specifications and Bill of Materials as required.
- To work alongside the various Service Delivery resources, to ensure consistent quality approach
- Responsible for ensuring compliance and update to the documentation frameworks to support Service Delivery, as per the Assurance Review process;
- Accurately produces Technical High-Level Designs and documentation;
- Defines and includes technical standards and best practices into Technical Solution;.
- Attends vendor sessions and extracts relevant information to develop the end to end Solutions and includes knowledge transfer sessions for deployment projects;
- Conducts and lead technical workshops with customers, peers and third-party vendors;
- Performs comparative analysis of proposals in response of RFP/RFI;
- Comprehends RFPs and develop cost effective solution in RFP response;
- Maintains knowledge and views on Technology Futures;
- Works with Professional Services and Applications Services to keep up to date with technology and process advancement (Capability Groups);
- Collaborate with other Cloud Solution Architects in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform
- Maintain technical skills and knowledge of market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the technical community
- Be an expert on Private cloud and one of the hyper scalers ( AWS/Azure/GCP)
Collaboration and Cross functional departmental support
- Works within cross-functional teams and with external partners to gather and share information;
- Delivers technical presentations to peers, leadership team, sales executives, clients, prospects;
- Communicates with the Project Manager and Technical Teams and support other Technical Architects;
- Communicates with the Project Manager and provide guidance to Implementation Engineering Technical Teams.
IT Architecture
- Has a solid and proven enterprise level architecture background, experienced in writing IT strategy and roadmaps.
- Has a Strong Understanding of Private cloud, Hybrid cloud and Hyper scalars ( AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Has Strong Understanding of Technical Architecture on Systems ( Compute, Virtualization, Storage, DR )
- Strong Knowledge of IT Architecture Delivery capabilities.
- Provides leadership on technology and domain area to come-up with a compelling business solution for Injazat IT infrastructure.
- Articulates cost benefit analysis and build business case / Architecture / proposal.
- Architects, designs and develops integrated business process and/or engineering systems and products to support the achievement of Injazat' business goals;
- Designs, develops, implements and supports business and/or technical information technology enabled solutions encompassing multiple specializations, platforms, and technologies.
- Develops cost strategies, encompassing Lines of Businesses;
- Reviews other system and programming designs to ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources and integration of multiple systems and technologies;
- Provides expertise in tactical emerging technologies and implication to IT market;
- Assists in the preparation and creation of documentation to define architectural solution, operations, guidance information, implementation guidelines, installation procedures and bill of materials.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience
- VMware VCAP-DCV design
- AWS/Azure Certified Solution Architect
- Enterprise Architecture - TOGAF 9 Certification ( optional)
