Boomi integration specialist
Role Overview:
As a Boomi integration specialist you will be responsible for the ongoing development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of integrations between middleware platforms (Boomi / PunchOut2Go), Coupa, and various ERPs. You’ll oversee middleware upgrades, coordinate with ERP teams during patching and updates, and manage technical planning and deployments in line with Coupa’s quarterly release cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
Middleware Integration & Support
• Maintain and support application integrations, ensuring performance and stability across Coupa, middleware, and ERP systems.
• Respond to and resolve integration incidents and performance alerts.
• Implement system changes following change management standards.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, test scripts, and help desk procedures.
• Support disaster recovery and outage communication protocols.
Boomi Platform
• Administer deployed processes (atoms, molecules) and monitor logs for master and transactional data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve middleware process errors.
• Manage deployments and coordinate process changes.
• Maintain master data records and resolve MDM errors.
• Ensure data consistency between Coupa, Boomi, TradeCentric (PunchOut2Go), and ERPs.
TradeCentric (PunchOut2Go)
• Manage catalog routes and data stores.
• Troubleshoot PunchOut integration issues.
• Coordinate with ERP and integration teams on data feed issues.
Coupa Integration
• Monitor and manage Middleware changes triggered by Coupa development or business needs.
• Identify and assess new requirements with Regional Business Analysts.
• Ensure Middleware documentation is kept up to date.
• Assist in testing and validating data flows and integrations.
• Maintain alignment with best practices and integration architecture.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Degree, diploma, or equivalent hands-on technical experience in IT systems development and support.
• 2+ years in IT, with hands-on Middleware administration (Boomi, SAP PI, or similar).
• Coupa and Boomi technology experience
Key Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Boomi and Coupa’s Source-to-Pay modules and ERP systems (e.g., SAP ECC, S/4HANA, Mincom).
• Familiarity with integration and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Ability to work across functional and technical teams to deliver stable and scalable integration solutions.
