The Role
As an AI Architect you are responsible for designing, developing, and leading the implementation of artificial intelligence infrastructures and solutions that align with TMS business objectives. This is a strategic and technical position that combines expertise in machine learning and AI with robust experience in systems architecture and team collaboration.
• Architect and deploy scalable AI solutions integrated with existing business and IT infrastructure.
• Create architectural blueprints for AI systems, including data pipelines, deployment, and integration strategies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, engineers, business stakeholders, and project managers to define AI needs and ensure project alignment with organizational strategy.
• Evaluate and select appropriate tools, and technologies for development, deployment, and continuous improvement.
• Lead and mentor AI development teams, ensuring technical excellence and fostering innovation.
• Monitor, optimize, and maintain AI systems, ensuring compliance with ethical standards, data privacy, and industry regulations.
• Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate new approaches and technologies within AI projects.
Who You Are
• You have 10 years of experience in AI and machine learning, with hands-on expertise in areas like deep learning and NLP using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• You are highly proficient in programming languages like Python, R, or Java, and apply an engineering mindset to developing AI solutions.
• You have a strong background in system and solution architecture, and can design secure, scalable, and production-ready AI systems.
• You are experienced with deploying AI/ML solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• You have worked with big data tools and infrastructure (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Hadoop) and understand data engineering fundamentals.
• You have led AI/ML projects and mentored technical teams, demonstrating a natural ability to guide and influence others.
• You communicate complex technical topics clearly and confidently, translating AI concepts into business impact for a range of stakeholders.
• You stay current with AI trends, tools, and best practices, and are mindful of ethics, compliance, and responsible innovation.
