About the job Procurement Buyer - 9 Months possible extension
• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in project-based or industrial sectors.
• Experience in energy, infrastructure, or engineering projects.
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Knowledge of contract law, international sourcing, and vendor management best practices.
• Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services aligned with project and business needs.
• Execute end-to-end procurement processes including RFQs, bid evaluations, PO issuance, and contract management.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand material and service requirements.
• Identify and qualify suppliers, ensuring compliance with company standards and project specifications.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to optimize value and mitigate risk.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or invoicing.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation in ERP systems.
• Support audits and ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures.
• Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
