Purpose
This position plays a crucial role in training and developing Product Sales Specialists while ensuring that customers enjoy an excellent shopping experience through outstanding customer service and product knowledge.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a dynamic environment
Essential Functions
• Act in accordance with the company’s core values.
• Understand and comply with the company's safe lifting practices and standard operating procedures.
• Teach and promote the company philosophy around the fundamental P's of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing.
• Guide Product Sales Specialists to deliver attentive and accurate customer service.
• Complete all required product specialist certification courses.
• Demonstrate proficiency in merchandise and installation.
• Oversee merchandising, pricing, and organization within the department.
• Communicate standard operating procedures and any updates to all associates promptly.
• Pass the Industrial Truck (forklift) proficiency testing and certification.
• Communicate inventory needs effectively to management.
• Assist in processing merchandise onto the showroom floor.
• Ensure accuracy in product placement and pricing.
• Greet every customer warmly, offering helpful assistance.
• Assist customers with product inquiries and selections.
• Handle checkout processes using the point of sale (POS) system.
• Process customer refunds and exchanges per established guidelines.
• Present engaging 'how-to' classes to customers.
• Follow protocols for accepting cash, checks, and charge cards.
• Answer calls according to accepted guidelines.
• Inventory and tag merchandise displays as needed.
• Create price tags and signage for merchandise.
Working Conditions
• Employees may be frequently exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles, with a noise level ranging from moderate to noisy.
Physical/Sensory Requirements
Ability to exert 30-60 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20-30 pounds frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects. Frequent standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and bending are required.

Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pickup Hours
Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
