Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Lead Programmer to join their team developing console games. This is a full-time role based in Riyadh that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the programming team, overseeing game code development, and ensuring technical excellence in the game.
You will:
• Lead and manage a team of programmers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to achieve project goals, quality, and timelines.
• Implement strategies to optimize game performance, memory, and framerate.
• Set technical guidelines to ensure scalability, maintenance, and evolution of game code.
• Enforce coding standards, best practices, and development processes.
• Review and provide feedback on code submissions to meet quality standards.
The ideal candidate should have experience managing a team, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for developing high-quality console games. You will also need:
• A master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a Senior / Lead Programmer role.
• Experience with at least 3 shipped games across multiple platforms and engines.
• Deep knowledge of Unreal Engine architecture, with the ability to implement custom features.
• Strong skills in C/C++/C# and other development languages.
