The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams, with expertise in designing and maintaining high-performance, low-latency backend systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of backend engineers, fostering collaboration and innovation.
• Engineering Execution:
Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of backend systems, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Strategic Planning & Execution:
Collaborate with product managers and designers to define project requirements and timelines.
• Collaboration & Communication:
Act as liaison between frontend team and other stakeholders.
• Technology Trends:
Stay informed on emerging technologies and development trends, applying them to drive innovation and technical excellence.
Required Skills And Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
• Bachelor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in backend engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proven track record of building and managing high-performing engineering teams.
• Expertise in designing and maintaining high-performance, low-latency backend systems in Java, Golang, Python or similar technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of databases (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and modern architecture patterns like microservices and event-driven systems.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, hybrid cloud environments, Docker, and tools like Kafka and Elastic Search.
• Skilled in implementing automated testing platforms, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git and understanding of agile delivery methodologies.
