Orbis Group is a fast-growing company providing identity risk solutions, and they are seeking a Senior Full Stack TypeScript Engineer. In this role, you will lead engineering efforts to enhance customer-facing features while collaborating with a talented team to drive product development and innovation. Responsibilities • Leading small teams of engineers for larger projects and work individually on smaller ones • Architecting, building, launching, and supporting customer-facing fullstack features and systems • Creating efficient, typed, proven code that is dependable, extensible, and scalable • Compounding the product vision from PMs and UX designers into concrete technical plans then share and review those plans with other engineers • Providing technical mentorship • Embracing an iterative customer-centric approach, flexibly iterating on features based on feedback from internal and external customers • Using modern software tools • Being on-call for a week once every few months (after a reasonable ramp-up period) Skills • Demonstrably skilled at coding, architecting software systems, and making the most of tools like GitHub, CircleCI, Jira, and Docker • Regularly delivers and supports impactful, dependable scalable, extensible features • Leads multi-engineer projects effectively: scoping work and delegating it to other engineers, communicating about the project with leadership, and facilitating productive discussions within the team to resolve blocking issues • Is a collaborative colleague who galvanizes others to improve aspects of their work, be it the codebase, tooling, or team processes • Reacts flexibly to the evolving needs of our organization and customers • Fullstack experience working with technologies such as: React, Node, and Postgres (or else relatable experience with similar technologies) • Fintechs experience • Elasticsearch / OpenSearch • Redshift • AWS Benefits • Unlimited PTO and flexible work policy!
