We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to support and enhance a large-scale Generative AI and workflow automation programme for a major healthcare transformation initiative. The role involves maintaining existing automation systems, building new workflow solutions, and strengthening governance, security, and performance across critical digital processes.
Responsibility:
Maintenance & Support
• Maintain and monitor existing automation solutions built on Microsoft Power Platform and Azure Functions.
• Troubleshoot issues, resolve bugs, and ensure high system availability and performance.
• Ensure workflows remain aligned with organisational IT standards and SharePoint data structures.
Enhancement & New Build Work
• Complete automation for billing vetting workflows and remove redundant documentation templates.
• Develop Approval of Award (AOA) automation and integrate with existing AOR processes.
• Implement end-to-end Purchase Order (PO) lifecycle automation, including Azure AI elements.
• Automate RFQ/RFP approval workflows using a brownfield enhancement approach.
• Build OCR-based quotation scanning automation to streamline procurement evaluation.
• Integrate real-time MAS rates into procurement approval systems.
• Identify “shadow processes” and formalise them into structured automation.
• Support additional automation use cases identified during the project period.
Governance, Documentation & Training
• Ensure all solutions meet enterprise IT security and data governance requirements.
• Provide documentation, technical knowledge transfer, and training to operations teams.
• Participate in regular check-ins, sprint discussions, and review cycles.
Requirements:
• Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and Azure Functions.
• Deep, hands-on experience in DevOps engineering, including CI/CD pipelines, IaC, environment/version management.
• Proficiency with Azure AI services and integrating AI components into workflow automation.
• Scripting experience in PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
• Experience with OCR tools such as Azure Cognitive Services is an advantage.
