Our client is seeking a Digital Asset Manager for a short-term contract to support a high-volume digital content organization project within their Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy in handling product assets.
Job Overview
The Digital Asset Manager will manage the uploading, tagging, and organization of large batches of digital assets, ensuring consistent metadata, proper naming, and smooth transfer of files for downstream teams. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented and experienced working within DAM environments.
Responsibilities
• Upload and organize product assets within the Digital Asset Management system
• Tag and classify content in line with internal naming conventions and metadata standards
• Ensure all metadata is complete, accurate, and consistent
• Prepare assets for transfer to additional platforms (e.g., Salsify)
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure file readiness
• Perform quality assurance checks to prevent duplicates or misfiled assets
• Provide ongoing status updates and flag organizational issues
Qualifications
• Experience working with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in high-volume content workflows
• Familiarity with metadata standards, asset tagging, and product content
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently under tight timelines
• Experience with Salsify is an asset but not required
