Our client, a well-established engineering services company, is expanding its M&E drafting team to support upcoming projects. This role offers attractive remuneration, structured training for entry-level candidates, and opportunities to work on large-scale engineering projects.
Job Info:
• Salary: Basic up to $4500 + AWS + VB
• Working hours: Monday to Friday (office hours); alternate Saturday (half day)
• Office located at Pioneer
• Full training provided for entry-level candidates
Job Scope:
• Prepare accurate technical drawings for Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems based on project requirements.
• Ensure all drawings are updated, accurate, and compliant with company standards and regulations.
• Coordinate closely with engineers, project managers, and contractors to align drawings with design intent.
• Revise drawings according to feedback and site requirements.
• Prepare and submit shop drawings, as-built drawings, and related documentation on schedule.
• Provide technical support during construction and assist in resolving M&E drawing-related issues.
• Offer practical input to ensure designs are buildable and site-ready.
• Review drawings to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in 3D M&E drafting preferred
• Entry-level candidates are welcome (Full training will be provided)
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting software
• Strong understanding of M&E systems and construction processes
• Autodesk Revit certification is an advantage
• Willing to travel islandwide to different sites for survey purposes
