We are hiring a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to support mission-critical infrastructure for government systems. You will manage hybrid cloud platforms, drive automation, maintain security, and ensure stable, high-availability IT services.

• Salary Package: Up to $6500 (basic) + AWS
• Job Type: Contract
Responsibilities
• Maintain and optimise compute, storage, virtualisation, and Azure environments
• Implement automation and configuration management standards
• Perform monthly patching, access control, and security hardening
• Support containerisation and hybrid cloud modernisation projects
• Manage backup, DR, and operational documentation
Skills & Experience
• Strong knowledge of Azure, Linux/Windows Server, networking, and Nutanix
• Experience with Terraform/Ansible, Kubernetes/Docker, and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and IM8 or industry compliance
• At least 2 years in infrastructure/platform operations; degree in IT or related field
Nice to Have
• Azure or infrastructure certifications, ITIL, or DevOps/CI-CD experience
• Experience in government or regulated environments
