We are looking for a highly experienced backend developer to join a global software solutions team within the financial services sector. The role involves developing and enhancing trading platforms, supporting cloud migration efforts, and collaborating across teams based in Singapore and Switzerland.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using C#, focusing on performance, scalability, and security.
• Redesign and implement database architectures using MS SQL and MongoDB.
• Collaborate on system integration, containerization, and cloud-based development (preferably Azure).
• Support API development using technologies like RabbitMQ, gRPC, and GraphQL.
• Participate in agile development cycles, and work directly with stakeholders, traders, and business owners.
• Provide technical support across development and production environments.
• (Optional) Contribute to frontend development using JavaScript/React.
Requirements:
• 5+ years in backend software development
• Strong hands-on experience with C#.
• Good knowledge of MongoDB, MS SQL, RabbitMQ, and cloud platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD, code reviews, and agile methodologies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in financial services is a plus.
• Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and React is an advantage.
This is on an initial 1-year contract, with high visibility for permanent conversion.
