Senior Product Owner - Fintech - (Consumer Lending Products)

We are hiring a Product Owner to join a high-growth fintech group as they expand their successful lending business into the Saudi market. Backed by a thriving presence in Southeast Asia, this role offers the chance to shape a suite of innovative and accessible digital financial products from the ground up in the Kingdom.

As Product Owner, you will lead the development of Sharia‑compliant consumer lending products, steering them from concept to market and beyond. You will play a key role in ensuring these offerings are commercially sound, technically scalable, locally tailored, and aligned with Saudi regulations including SAMA and Sharia guidelines.
This is a hands‑on role that sits at the centre of product, technology, compliance, and growth. You will partner with cross‑functional teams including engineering, UX, legal, data, and marketing to launch and evolve a best‑in‑class lending experience.
Discover the responsibilities
• Own and manage the full product lifecycle in Saudi Arabia, from roadmap to execution
• Define customer value propositions and go‑to‑market priorities
• Collaborate with compliance and Sharia advisors to design regulator‑ready, Sharia‑compliant products
• Drive agile product delivery through user stories, backlog management, testing, and phased launches
• Monitor key metrics including user growth, conversion, unit economics, and compliance
• Manage internal and external stakeholders, from KYC providers to tech partners
• Maintain detailed documentation including requirements, risks, and decision logs
Discover the requirements
• 4–6 years experience in product ownership or product management, ideally within fintech, lending, or digital banking
• Direct experience launching financial products in Saudi Arabia or GCC markets
• Understanding of Sharia‑compliant financial structures
• Familiar with SAMA requirements and licensing processes
• Experience working with payment rails, KYC/AML systems, and banking integrations
• Strong analytical mindset with a data‑driven approach to product development
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Fluent in Arabic is a plus, as is experience localizing products for Saudi users
