Join our dynamic team as a Senior Consultant for Operational Technology Cybersecurity and make a significant impact in the Critical National Infrastructure sectors including Power Generation, Transmission, and Distribution, Rail, Aviation, Highways, Water, Energy, and Defence. In this vital role, you will develop and implement innovative solutions that tackle our clients' pressing cybersecurity challenges while supporting their digital transformation efforts. Your expertise will be essential in a variety of security engineering tasks that include: • Creating comprehensive cybersecurity assessment methodologies and establishing security requirements, architecture, and designs for complex Operational Technology (OT) systems. • Implementing rigorous security risk management processes and facilitating accreditation activities in partnership with clients and regulatory bodies. • Designing and executing security testing for OT cybersecurity solutions tailored for control systems. • Serving as a Subject Matter Expert, delivering cybersecurity governance and assurance for OT solutions. • Conducting meticulous Security Reviews and Audits. • Offering technical support for Business Development initiatives while staying informed about relevant legislation and regulations. Qualified candidates will possess a combination of the following skills and experiences: • Demonstrated experience in OT Cybersecurity within Critical National Infrastructure contexts. • Deep understanding of the UK electricity generation, transmission, and distribution sectors. • Hands-on experience with the design and implementation of Protection and Control Systems in the electricity industry (e.g., power plants, substations, HVDC control systems). • Familiarity with security engineering technologies (e.g., Endpoint Protection, IDS, Firewalls) in both IT and OT environments, alongside a solid grasp of networking technologies. • Knowledge of standards and frameworks such as the NIS Directive, IEC 62443, ISO 27000 series, MITRE ATT&CK, and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF). • The ability to clearly communicate the business advantages of a threat-based, risk-informed security approach, enabling business risk owners to make informed decisions. • Understanding of design principles with a focus on operational safety and the security of operational settings.
