Contract Duration: 6 months (renewable to long-term)

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Data Quality Developer for a contract role in Abu Dhabi. You will be instrumental in building, implementing, and monitoring data quality rules to ensure the consistency, accuracy, and reliability of data across our platforms. This is a hands‑on role that requires strong technical skills and a deep understanding of the data quality lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement data quality rules, validation checks, and data quality scorecards.
• Perform in-depth data profiling to identify anomalies, gaps, and quality issues.
• Build and automate workflows for data cleansing, standardization, and deduplication.
• Integrate and enforce data quality checks within ETL/ELT pipelines and data workflows.
• Develop and maintain DQ dashboards and reports to monitor data health and performance.
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Governance teams to resolve data issues.
• Document metadata, data quality rule logic, and maintain data dictionaries.
Required Skills &
Qualifications:
• Must‑Have:
• Strong SQL skills for complex data querying, profiling, and validation.
• Sound understanding of the end‑to‑end data quality lifecycle and its implementationli>
• Hands‑on experience with Databricks for building and managing data pipelines with integrated DQ checks.
• Core Technical Proficiency:
• Experience with Python for data cleaning and automation scripts.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts and data modeling basics.
• Hands‑on Experience - Atlan and BI (MANDATORY)
• Nice‑to‑Have:
• Experience with any leading Data Quality tools (e.g., Informatica IDQ, Talend, Azure Purview, Collibra DQ, Ataccama).
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms like Azure Synapse, Snowflake, or Big Query.
