Responsibilities
• Ensure adherence to defined SLAs and maintain maximum network uptime.
• Lead the installation, configuration, and migration of network equipment and services.
• Troubleshoot complex incidents related to routing, switching, wireless, and VPNs.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement long-term corrective actions.
• Define, document, and enforce standard operating procedures and processes.
• Build and maintain a network test environment for validation and troubleshooting.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to Level 1 and Level 2 engineers.
• Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of critical network issues.
• Monitor and maintain SLA compliance and team performance.
• Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and assist in change planning.
• Recommend network design improvements and adoption of emerging technologies.
• Conduct regular testing, audits, and process reviews to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Contribute to documentation including POA, RCA, RFO, and knowledge base updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network services across multi-geo environments.
Requirements
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in network administration within large enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in troubleshooting and optimizing LAN/WAN architecture and IP services.
• Proven experience in implementing and managing static and dynamic routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus switches, Meraki technologies, and wireless solutions.
• Experience in preparing technical documentation such as POA, RCA, and RFO.
• Experience with System Fault Tolerance, Network Design, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery
• Exposure to multi-data center or multi-geo environments.
• Experience in Change Management, Incident Management, and CAB participation.
• Familiarity with cloud networking concepts (AWS, Azure) is an added advantage.
