Company Overview: This company aims to create a global leader in space with a focus on driving innovation for a better world. The Senior DevOps Engineer will lead a technical team working on components within the Skywaves project. The team may be distributed across multiple sites with different time zones.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Leading daily team management including conflict resolution and ensuring the application of established work methods
• Coordination with other Technical Managers on cross-functional tasks and managing recruitment processes
• Managing the team's roadmap, and monitoring team performance, providing reports to the VP on progress
• Ensuring the quality of deliverables produced by the team and providing support for maintenance and support requests
• Participating in sales activities, occasionally travelling abroad and having regular telephone and email communication with the company's clients and partners
Qualifications: Candidates should have a BAC +3/+5 degree and at least 5 years of technical project management experience, mastery of management and communication skills, and experience in Agile environments. Familiarity with web environments, cloud environments, and Linux is also preferred. Previous aerospace industry experience and experience at a connectivity provider or satellite supplier is a significant advantage.
