Role Description
We are looking for a skilled Java Software Engineer (Mandarin Speaking) to join our team in Sydney, NSW, for a full-time hybrid role. As a Java Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications, writing and testing code, debugging and troubleshooting issues, collaborating on cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and providing custom solutions.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field,
• 2+ years of related working experience,
• Experience working with JavaScript, jQuery, JSP, AJax, HTML and CSS,
• Experience working with developing applications using the Tomcat server, eclipse and IntelliJ IDEs,
• Familiar with Java version 8 or later and has an understanding of how to use lambda expressions,
• Experience working with connecting to a database, knows how to write Java programs to read/write database and using Oracle DB or MySQL preferably,
• Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring boot or Java EE, Redis/ELK, Selenium implementation,
• Excellent command of Mandarin (written and spoken) to liaise with our Mandarin-speaking clients and team members is required,
• A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly
