A leading fintech virtual bank which is looking for an talented software engineer to join their team to lead multiple digital initiatives such as their thought machines. They are looking for several developers mainly working on Java/Python who is strong on the backend.
Role Responsibility:
• Thought Machine https://www.thoughtmachine.net/ - is a Core Banking/Digital Banking platform layer and smart contracts layer written in Python code.
• Role is focused on the Python smart contracts in the thought machine layer
• Complexity of the role is translating from requirements to code.
• Design the solution to the smart contracts side and execute as well; test suites are going to be designed. Test cases
• Designing hooks instead of objects.
• Role is a hybrid of Engineering (development and automation), BA, and Ops
Requirements
• 3+ years in Python or Java Kotlin development with strong OOP mindset/skills
• Unit testing, single service testing
• English only
This will provide a young Backend Engineer with an opportunity to have a bigger exposure to core banking systems for digital/virtual banks.
