Job Description
• Responsible for formulating and directing the quality assurance programs and policies from incoming, in-process to out-going quality for the products produced.
• Responsible for root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for customer complaints.
• Maintain ISO 9001: 2015 QMS and lead the team to achieve annual surveillance and recertification audits.
• Lead Customer and Third-party Audits including Regulatory Certifications like NSF Standards 42, 53,401, 0PB-DWTU, IAPMO standards, WQA Gold Seal and Sustainability standards, Australian Watermark Standard, Customer Social Compliance standards and others.
• Prepare Quality Performance Metrics & reports for management.
• Manage the quality performance of the subcontractors.
• Establish, review and maintain quality documents such as Control Plans, FMEA, Process Flow, Risk and Opportunities Assessments.
• Perform Statistical and Measurement System Analysis for relevant quality data, when necessary.
• Verification and Review of Line and Machine Qualifications
• Preparation and submission of PPAP (production part approval process) documents for new products to customers and FAI reports for new materials, compounds/ molds for subcontractors.
• Maintain Calibration System and records for test equipment, tools and gauges.
• Manage QA laboratory activities.
• Responsible for continuous improvement projects related to quality process, quality system and QA laboratory.
• Mentor & develop quality team members including conducting periodic performance appraisals.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.
Job Requirement
• * Degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in Quality Assurance &/or Quality Control with people leadership experience
• Must possess a strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management system.
• Strong knowledge in quality engineering (PPAP, SPC, CAPA, 8D), maintenance of quality certifications, product quality inspection requirements, calibration control.
• LEAN manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S & ISO 9001 experience advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• A team player, self-driven and able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency.
