Description: • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Network Engineering • Strong understanding of secure access solutions such as NAC/AAA and experience with Cisco Clients. • Strong knowledge and experience with routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) as well as HA, and QoS. • Experience with some of the log and monitoring aggregation tools such as Splunk, SolarWinds, PRTG, and Wireshark. • Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus, Catalyst series, and ISR/ASR Routers. • Hands-on experience with Palo Alto & Cisco ASA Firewalls. • Experience with Cisco Wireless Infrastructure design and implementation. • Strong understanding of the Cisco AnyConnect VPN (ASA/FirePower), and Palo Alto Networks (FW/VPN). • Networking industry experience in handling various switched and routed data networks & protocols in a multi-platform environment with high availability. • SD-WAN knowledge. • Cisco CCNA or CCNP or equivalent experience. Skills: Network engineering, sd-wan, cisco asa, Palo Alto, Firewall, mpls, ipsec, WAN Top Skills Details: Network engineering,sd-wan,cisco asa,Palo Alto,Firewall,mpls,ipsec,WAN Additional Skills & Qualifications: Tasks would include but not be limited to: • IT Network Discovery, Documentation, Inventory. • Initiatives App Tracking Initiatives using Tools and Palo Alto Firewalls. • Cisco Client Support and Firmware Upgrade. • Network Support and Vulnerability Management: Support data center Routing, Switching, Wi-Fi, LAN, WAN, SDWAN, and Firewall services and proactively monitor the health of all Network systems located at the data centers and take appropriate action when required. • Perform after-hours systems support, installation, and maintenance as required. • Author technical documentation such as Network LAN WAN Infrastructure diagrams and data center diagrams for Optum Integration Project. • Provide specialized technical expertise in researching and resolving Network and Security related problems which may involve coordination of hardware and software vendor support. • Communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, project managers, and stakeholders. • Work closely with vendors on the implementation of products, services, and projects. • Ensure security, redundancy, disaster recovery, fault tolerance, and operational standards and procedures are maintained in accordance with *** IT compliance requirements, and industry best practices. Responsibilities: • Perform IP Migration Planning. • Perform design and Documentation - Network Discovery, inventory, Diagrams, and Static Device List. • Submit IP Migration Change Requests • Coordinate with Network and Systems Engineers and perform IP Migration tasks. • Coordinate with multiple teams to build an Application List. • Install Palo Alto Firewalls Inline - Verify Licensing and Support for Palo Alto. • Collect App Tracking for each Application using Tools. • Submit the Firewall rules list to be created. • Firmware Upgrade and Support of Network Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Client, and NAC if necessary for Vulnerability management.
