Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
· Proven experience as a Mainframe Tester or Quality Assurance Analyst in the banking or financial services industry, with a strong understanding of mainframe technology and banking systems.
· Proficiency in mainframe programming languages such as COBOL, JCL, and VSAM, as well as knowledge of banking-specific technologies and protocols.
· Hands-on experience with mainframe testing tools and utilities, such as IBM Rational Functional Tester, CA Gen, and Compuware's Topaz suite.
· Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and regulatory compliance requirements in the banking domain, including PCI-DSS, GDPR, and SOX.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes of defects and propose effective solutions.
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
· Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced, regulatory-driven environment.
· Relevant certifications in software testing, quality assurance, or banking technology (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Banking Professional) are a plus
