We are seeking a highly experience Senior Software Test Engineer who is instrumental in executing fundamental testing, managing upgrades at scale, and overseeing hardware maintenance. Your primary focus will be on running pipelines to verify features and scenarios, as well as triaging and managing the resolution of failures.
Job Responsibilities
Execution of pipelines for verifying features and scenarios
Triage and management of failure resolutions
Execute comprehensive test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures
Test system modifications to ensure readiness for implementation
Develop testing programs addressing areas like database impacts, software scenarios, or usability
Document software defects and report them using bug tracking systems
Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function or output
Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
Create and maintain databases of known test defects
Plan test schedules or strategies in alignment with project scope and delivery dates
Qualifications:
Associate degree in a technical field such as computer science or related field required
Experience in software testing and writing test documentation
Ability to analyze and interpret test results, providing recommendations for improvement
Preferred degree or certification in the field
Consistent employment history without frequent job changes
Experience with Azure services and Windows testing tools
Must have skills:
Minimum 4+ years of testing and validation work
Minimum 4+ years of strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate issues effectively
Minimum 4+ years of experience in Windows Server technologies
