Role Description
Oasys is seeking a talented and motivated Blockchain Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the evolution of our blockchain-based game development platform. This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Blockchain Engineer.
Responsibilities:
Development Policy Decision-Making:
• Make critical technical decisions during development phases.
Development of L1 and L2:
• Actively participate in the development process.
• Work with L1 based on go-ethereum and L2 being a fork of Optimism, both in Go language.
Bug-Bounty Program Management:
• Operating and managing a third-party Bug-Bounty program, a key element for enhancing Oasys security.
• Evaluating various bug reports to determine those worthy of compensation.
Additional Responsibilities (Depending on Skills/Experience):
Infrastructure Operation:
• Manage key servers and infrastructure, aiming for in-house management.
Information Systems Tasks:
• Handle tasks like SaaS services and cloud account management typically managed by corporate IT departments.
Skills
Essential:
• Proficiency in interpreting and improving open-source code, particularly in Go language.
• Technical understanding of Layer 1 and Layer 2 (L1/L2) blockchain configurations, with a focus on Optimistic Rollups.
• Capability to rapidly acquire detailed knowledge of these systems, even if not currently fully versed, within approximately one week.
• Knowledge of best practices in Solidity implementation, including the ability to understand complex contracts used in DeFi projects.
• Experience as a Blockchain Engineer on other Layer 1 or Layer 2 chains.
Desirable:
• Experience in infrastructure operations, especially with infrastructure management tools like Ansible and Terraform.
• Experience in roles equivalent to corporate IT departments, managing SaaS/Cloud accounts.
Experience with game development and familiarity with non-fungible tokens (NFTs) is a plus.
