You Will:
• Work closely with Finance core functions to comprehend requirements and identify opportunities for process automation.
• Act as a liaison between technical and financial teams, ensuring effective communication and understanding of business needs.
• Gather requirements, design, develop, and maintain software and data solutions to automate cost allocations and streamline accounting processes.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developed solutions. Help develop ongoing master data management and data quality best practices within Tower.
• Monitoring and ensuring robust state of production systems.
You Have:
• A BS Degree in Computer Science
• 5+ years of experience as a software developer, data engineer, or data analyst in the Finance domain.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Python, Microsoft Access, Tableau and Linux shell scripting; additional proficiency in Java is a bonus.
• At least 3 years of experience working with SQL (ie. MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (ie. MongoDB, ElasticSearch) databases that are hosted both on-premise and in the cloud.
• Experience working with integrations for both file-based (ie. SFTP) and web services (ie. REST) solutions
• Experience in Process Automation.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
