RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client that is seeking a Java Web Developer in Cleveland, OH. This is a temp to perm position after 6 months. For now, this position is semi-remote 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. At any time they may have everyone back in the office 5 days and the worker needs to understand this. The schedule is a flexible 8:30 am-5:00 pm workday Summary: The Java Web Developer I position is responsible for the development, integration, and implementation of application software supporting mission-critical business applications. The position requires participation in the complete system development life cycle including post-implementation support. REQUIREMENTS: • 2+ years of overall IT experience • 1+ years of experience working on all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle • 1+ years of Web Application Development Experience in Java/J2EE environment including Java Server Pages (JSP), MVC frameworks, JavaScript (jQuery), CSS, XML Technologies, Spring, Hibernate, and HTML • 1+ years of experience in an Enterprise Database Management System, preferably Oracle • 1+ years of experience working with REST APIs, Docker, and/or Kubernetes • 1+ years of experience working with Source Control environments such as GIT • Looking for a more junior web developer • Experience creating automated build using Gradle • Experience with Unix/Linux OS and shell scripting • Experience with application servers such as JBoss and Tomcat • Experience building single-page applications with ReactJS, AngularJS is a plus • When submitting please provide a write-up on your experience with Java, J2EE Web development, Spring Framework, Oracle Database, Shell scripting, SQL and JBoss Application Server, and React JS • Candidates must be able to commute to the downtown Cleveland office and secure their own parking Interview: • Teams interviews will be conducted first then second face-to-face interview The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
