We are seeking a dynamic Cybersecurity Engineer responsible for the ongoing operation and maintenance of our organization's security infrastructure. This role involves deploying, configuring, managing, and maintaining various security solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain security solutions outlined in section 4.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents logged in the service desk.
• Address security threats promptly.
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
• Provide security expertise to development teams, ensuring adherence to secure coding practices.
• Stay current on the latest security threats and trends.
• Demonstrate the capability to create proof of concepts for engineers, developers, or management to illustrate issues.
• Possess knowledge of current attack trends affecting cloud infrastructures, applications, and related services.
• Demonstrate expertise and technical capability to integrate common static and dynamic code analysis tools into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Articulate risks to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate on optimal paths to remediate complex issues.
• Deliver reports and presentations to engineers, developers, and management.
• Independently research and solve complex problems.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are advantageous.
• Proven experience of a minimum of 7+ years in implementing and maintaining cybersecurity solutions.
• Familiarity with industry standards, security frameworks, and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, UAE IA).
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security technologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to security.

Salary: Up to AED15,000.00 per month
