This is a very long term contract role with one of our direct clients a Fortune 500 top client. There are no implementation partners.
This role is hybrid and will be onsite 2 days a week. The client will only consider local candidates and wont be considering epople who are willing to relocate

Job Description: Experienced SQL and Java Senior Applications Developer needed for work on an enterprise data repository that is accessed by UPS internal applications via API. The programmer must have expert level experience in Microsoft SQL Server writing stored procedures, SSIS, data loads, and able to performance tune queries against very large datasets with 2 second response time. This developer will also support the Java based API code. The developer will assist in building and supporting an application being deployed worldwide in multiple languages. Developer will be required to work some hours on weekends periodically to load production data and deploy production code.
Skill/Experience/Education
Mandatory:
Expertise in designing and building database packages and queries optimized for large data sets. Experience in creating Java based APIs.
Desired Skills
Excellent oral and written communication (English). Ability to analyze business requirements and translate into technical requirements. Experience working on an OpenShift platform.
