Job Type: Full time Contractor, 9 Months - Hybrid - Mississauga office
Who We Are
You will be working within the Teranet CMS Recovery team. CMS Recovery is a business unit within Teranet. We specialize in managing loan delinquencies and debt recovery. We design, develop, and maintain a supply chain management system that orchestrates debt recovery activities including repossessions, bankruptcies, collections, and other aspects of debt recovery. We are a service provider to major lending institutions in Canada. We have a large ecosystem of components and tools that work in synergy to enable business capabilities and results. You will be working in an agile team who responds to incidents, solves problems, and implements continuous improvements.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Implement continuous improvements and help define application roadmaps.
• Collaborate and liaise with cross functional teams including server storage, network, database.
• Apply programming and problem-solving skills to resolve incidents, prevent problems, and improve the on-call experience.
• Maintain application wikis and runbooks when needed.
• Run emergency changes to deploy urgent application hotfix when needed.
• Provide on call support mostly during business hours; some after hours when needed.
About You
• 4+ years Agile software development and release train
• Experience with enterprise change management workflows and tools such as ServiceNow
• Proficient in programming languages: C#, Angular
• Knowledge of .NET Core, Asp.Net, Webforms, Sql Server, Visual Basic, Microsoft Azure
• Excellent communication skills
• Logical thinking and Problem Solving
• Time management and ability to manage changing priorities.
• Experience with legacy applications such as visual basic, webforms, .Net framework 4.8
• Experience in modern libraries and frameworks, such as Angular, SOAP/REST, and cloud capabilities especially Microsoft Azure.
