At NorthBay the Vizient Clinical Database Coordinator is responsible for overall system software maintenance and support for all Vizient Clinical Database (CDB) system products and applications within each product. The individual functions as a liaison between system users, IT technical staff, and Vizient CDB vendor's technical support. Accountable for monitoring the Vizient CDB system daily for system performance and errors with interfaces. Maintains and validates interface dictionaries for information flow of system data. Ensures the completion of the nightly backup of Vizient CDB application and seeks appropriate actions to ensure data integrity and availability of historical information within the system. Provides leadership and assistance with Vizient CDB upgrades and maintenance of the application. Leverage Vizient CDB applications to extract outcome reports and validation of data. The Coordinator is responsible for evaluating, recommending and assisting with implementation of systems solutions to enhance the automation and data collection for departments who use the Vizient CDB products. Performs audits designed to ensure integrity and quality of data and departments' compliance with regulations. Provides training and education for identified system staff on all Vizient CDB products and applications. Ensures data integrity within the product and application, identifies needs for additional training, and provides re-education of identified staff when needed. Supports departmental leadership needs for areas who use Vizient CDB products. Incorporates Cerner EHR data analysis as needed to include understanding of Business Objects and Reports from this platform. This is a limited term employment opportunity, maximum of a one year assignment with the option to extend if both parties are willing.
