Description We are seeking a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer who is passionate about helping businesses increase efficiency and streamline operations through the implementation of efficient software delivery practices. This ideal candidate will work closely with software engineers, system administrators, and other IT staff to manage code releases Responsibilities • Collaborate with developers and the IT team to oversee the code releases and deployments. • Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning and management. • Handle code deployments in all environments. • Provide operational support and scripting capabilities. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolves IT issues. • Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) in all environments. • Work closely with the team to identify and establish DevOps practices across departments. • System troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains. • Ensure critical resolution of system issues by using the best cloud security solutions available. • Improve the system quality by identifying issues and common patterns, and developing standard operating procedures. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role. • Proficient with Git and Git workflows. • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Ruby, etc. • Experience in network, server, and application-status monitoring. • Strong experience with SQL and MySQL. • Working knowledge of Ruby or Java, and known DevOps tools like Git and GitHub. • Familiarity with software containerization platforms like Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes. • Knowledge of cloud service platforms and experience in at least one cloud platform: AWS, GCP, Azure.
