My client is groundbreaking Layer 1 blockchain that aims to deliver scalable, customizable, and highly performant blockchain solutions for enterprises. They are looking for a DevOps Lead to build and head up the whole DevOps Team.
Job Descriptions
• Supervise the management of IT infrastructure across various cloud environments (AWS, GCP, etc.) and on-premises servers.
• Advocate for best practices in software development and deployment, ensuring code quality and facilitating swift, secure, and reliable releases.
• Lead initiatives related to security, patch management, and vulnerability assessments, maintaining up-to-date and secure software and infrastructure. Continuously improve monitoring tools and practices.
• Design and implement a DevOps platform such as a Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure that software is designed for security, reliability, and scalability.
• Implement infrastructure as code templates for internal and external decentralized services.
• Lead technical discussions with external partners such as cloud service providers.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS and GCP.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, etc.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Elasticsearch, Zabbix, Open Falcon, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of network security, host security, and data security.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic about adopting new technologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, or similar.
• Knowledge of security standards such as ISO27001 is a plus.
• Interest in decentralized services is a plus
