Role Summary: We are looking for a diligent and experienced Test Lead with experience in test planning and execution of Payroll and Time & Attendance applications for software upgrades, BAU changes and continuous improvements. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in guiding the testing processes through meticulous planning, execution, and governance, ensuring that the software remains cutting-edge and reliable. Contract Summary: Rate: Based on experience Duration: 6 months Work model: Full time, Hybrid (2-3 days min in the office) Location: Sydney (Must be NSW based) Responsibilities: • Design and execute detailed test plans for payroll and time & attendance applications during software upgrades, routine changes, and ongoing improvements. • Develop and maintain standard regression testing plans to ensure software reliability and performance. • Oversee the creation and maintenance of comprehensive testing documentation, ensuring all materials meet the highest quality standards for production release. • Define and implement standard production release verification testing to ensure flawless deployment of software updates. • Manage the end-to-end testing execution process, ensuring that all changes are thoroughly tested and signed off before being released into production environments. Qualifications: • Proven experience in test planning and execution within payroll and time & attendance systems. • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain standard regression testing plans. • Strong experience in governing testing documentation and production release protocols. • Skilled in defining and executing production release verification testing. • Capable of managing testing plans from inception to the release of changes into production. Preferred Skills: • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. • Proficient in test management software and Agile methodologies. • Outstanding communication and teamwork capabilities. • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Visio, and other relevant tools. Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience: • 5+ years of experience in a testing lead role, specifically within payroll or time & attendance system environments
