This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior IT Business Analyst to join a Global Insurer on a 6 month contract. The ideal candidate will have System Implementation, New Product Lines and Insurance experience.
The roleholder will be responsible for supporting the delivery of change to the business by leading, shaping, and directing analysis activity and the work of other Business Analysts. Participate in activities that enable the assessment of business need, capture of requirements, design of appropriate solutions and delivery of solutions, and
when doing so, will be recognized as experts in their field. This includes acting as the interface and point of liaison between the business and the IT team in order to undertake analysis into designated areas from a business solution, IT system or process perspective; to help identify problems, challenges and opportunities.
Experience required:
• 4 years relevant IT experience
• Familiarity of systems development lifecycle (SDLC) and disciplines preferably within a multi-vendor environment
• Ability to define business analysis approach for complex programs/projects
• Experience with new insurance products would be advantageous
• Ability to engage with Business and IT colleagues to accurately convey and resolve issues found during analysis in a well-reasoned fashion
