AWS Platform Engineer- CDK experience
Location: Anywhere in United States, Remote
We are looking for AWS Platform Engineer with CF to CDK migration experience for an immediate need. This is a client-facing role & the candidate will have regular interactions with various client managers.
Job description:
· A minimum of 8-10 year of IT Infrastructure experience with 2-3 year of Cloud Formation to CDK migration experience is MUST.
· Experience developing Infrastructure as code automation using AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit)
· Experience developing CI/CD pipelines, using AWS tool chains, to automate the software development lifecycle.
· Experience with AWS event driven, serverless architecture patterns such as API Gateway, Lambda and DynamoDB an advantage.
· Experience working in a DevOps role on a cross functional development team is an added advantage.
· Containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon ECS
· Experience in managing code repo, CICD pipelines configuration & management.
· Scripting languages such as Ansible, Bash, Python, and PowerShell will be added advantage.
· Executing and troubleshooting SaaS application deployment procedures
· Development of and continual improvement of automation and procedures
· Analyzing, troubleshooting, and supporting infrastructure in AWS.
· Monitoring system performance and recommend corrective action.
· Documenting current environment and ongoing maintenance of documentation
· Collaborate with product owners, developers, and support staff to ensure continuous and reliable delivery of service.
· An Associate degree in a related field (Networking, Software Development, Database Administration).

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $[100,000 – 140,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
