Role Overview:
As our Governance Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Layer 0 distributed ledger technology. Your work will be instrumental in fostering the governance of our open-source distributed systems infrastructure, directly influencing our growth and trajectory.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison with our global community, enhancing our ecosystem by attracting new talent and forming strategic partnerships.
Maintain and promote high technical and ethical standards within our ecosystem, ensuring its expansion and integrity.
Draft, edit, and champion Governance Proposals, playing a crucial role in our ecosystem's decision-making processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 5 years of professional experience.
A solid foundation in distributed systems technology.
A good grasp of governance models related to infrastructure.
Experience in writing technical or process-oriented documents.
Proven track record of managing multi-stakeholder interests with finesse and integrity.
Extensive network within the blockchain industry, with the ability to nurture and expand it further.
Desirable Attributes:
A keen interest in emerging technologies.
Familiarity with the unique communication styles of the crypto industry.
Experience in governance within blockchain environments such as ETH, BTC, SOL, or TEZOS.
Background in customer-centric project management, business development, entrepreneurship, or similar fields.
Contributions to open-source projects.
