Requisition Description
Looking for good SRE candidates, for supporting our Hybrid Cloud Container Platform.
Primarily looking for candidates with good experience in Openshift /Kubernetes/ AKS (Azure)/EKS (AWS) / and Good SRE mindset, support experience, problem solving skills
Day-to-Day:
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and security issues in Azure, AWS, and Cloud environments.
• Perform in-depth analysis of reliability issues, incident management, and problem management.
• Identify and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
• Conduct blameless root cause analysis and collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement fixes.
• Drive automation initiatives to improve the deployment, management, and visibility of cloud services.
• Evaluate and automate scaling and capacity requirements within Azure environments.
• Engage with engineering teams throughout the lifecycle of design, engineering, deployment, and operations.
• Collaborate with risk and compliance teams to implement controls and policies in the Cloud Platform.
• Ensure resiliency during implementation and address resiliency issues with engineering teams.
• Participate in the design of cloud services in collaboration with Architecture, engineering, and product teams.
• Be part of the 24x7 on-call coverage following a "follow the sun" model.
Must Haves:
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience maintaining cloud platforms, preferably on a major cloud service provider.
• Strong experience in Azure operations and Administration.
• Azure/Terraform/AWS/Google certifications are a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Azure solutions, including Compute, Storage, Network, and Security services.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Dynatrace, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics.
• Understanding of cost management and FinOps models.
• Advanced knowledge of IAM infrastructure, including Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, Azure AD, and SSO solutions.
• Proficiency in DNS, DHCP, Kerberos, and Windows Authentication.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Proficiency in Python, Ansible, and shell scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Git and Jenkins, with familiarity in using a GitOps model.
• Excellent understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems administration.
• Strong systematic problem-solving skills, sense of ownership, and drive.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
Plusses:
• Experience in Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience working in a highly available multi-datacenter environment.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team with direct responsibilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changes in project scope
