Our client, a major and highly influential financial institution in Hong Kong, is currently undergoing a major transformation across the business. part of the IT business unit, they are looking for a Business Analyst with solid experience in migrating/implementing accounting or budgeting systems. Candidates who also have experience in business/system process re-engineering would hold an advantage. Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese is mandatory.
Description
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand business objectives, analyze existing processes, and identify opportunities for improvement and automation
• Lead the implementation and migration of IT systems, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to business operations
• Develop and document comprehensive business requirements, including process flows, use cases, and functional specifications, to support system implementations and migrations
• Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems and processes, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement
• Propose and implement process re-engineering initiatives to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and reduce costs
• Ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, and provide recommendations for innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement
Profile
• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration or any related discipline
• Proven experience in implementing/migration accounting or budgeting systems
• Experience in process re-engineering is highly advantageous
• Experience in running projects in Agile
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Cantonese
