Product Test Engineer - £28,000 - £35,000 pa – South West London/Surrey A leading Audio Electronics Manufacturer specialising in commercial and professional audio devices, are looking for a Product Test Engineer to carry out test procedures on key products in development. This role is ideal for a junior candidate who is looking for their first step into engineering. Key ResponsibilitiesCarrying out firmware test plans for products in developmentCarrying out hardware and electro-mechanical test plans for products in developmentObtain relevant evidence on any test failureReport and file any test failure including test steps to reproduceCarry out home ‘real situation’ testsWorking closely with suppliers and colleagues to resolve reported failuresAssist in the creation of technical documents such as specification sheets, instruction, and installation manuals.Assist in the creation of specific test environmentsCarrying out tests to verify stated performance and features of supplier modulesAssist technical support on product questions or problemsTo assist the Director of Product Development with departmental activities as and when necessary.Key Skills/ExperienceHNC/HND or degree in Electronics/Mechanical Engineering would be idealFirmware TestingGood understanding of Electronics CircuitsGood communication skillsGood problem solving and analytical skillsUnderstanding & Interest in Audio products & technologyIf you are interested in the position and think you have the skills required as an Product Test Engineer, please don’t hesitate to apply.
