Ontario Government Client is actively seeking a skilled QA Specialist. As a QA Specialist, We seek an API expert with 5-10 years' of hands-on experience using ReadyAPI, SoapUI, and Postman. Your proficiency in IBM WebSphere, Oracle, SQL, and API Connect is crucial. Must excel in testing SOAP/ReST-based transactional web services in a Java EE environment. If you possess excellent communication, prioritization skills, and expertise in HP ALM, JIRA.
Note: The candidate is present on-site for three days each week.
Must-Haves:
• Testing experience with SOAP/ReST-based APIs using third-party tools like ReadyAPI, SoapUI, and Postman
• Hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server, Oracle, structured SQL-based query languages, and IBM API Connect platform
• Testing experience (functional and non-functional) of SOAP-based and ReST-based transactional web services in an n-tier Java EE server environment, ideally in the context of occupational and/or business registry systems
Criteria:
Expert testing experience with SOAP/ReST-based APIs
• 5-10 years of scripting, executing, and maintaining automated API/web service tests using tools such as ReadyAPI, SoapUI, and Postman
• Proficiency in design/coding techniques like schema validation, parameter passing, and Groovy scripting
Technical skills with required API testing toolset
• 5-10 years of design/coding techniques such as schema validation, parameter passing, and Groovy scripting
• Hands-on testing experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server, Oracle, structured SQL-based query languages, and IBM API Connect platform
• Utilization of HP ALM, JIRA, and other test/defect management tools
