As a Senior QA Engineer and part of the QA team, you will be responsible for verifying features before they are released to production by both manual and automated testing methods. This role will work collaboratively with the team and will be involved in all aspects of delivery, from initial inception workshops through to release. We pride ourselves on a high quality product. The scope of your role will include (but not limited to): Testing planning and execution. Perform functional, exploratory, integration and cross browser testing, including on mobile devices. Write automated Selenium tests and make sure the code adheres to our coding standards. Write automated API tests and make sure the code adheres to our coding standards. Review developer pull requests to check for appropriate unit tests and integration test coverage. Perform manual regression testing on product areas that are not automated. Collaboration. Work closely with the Engineers on the team during feature development. Liaise with the System Analysts and other stakeholders to define the acceptance criteria for user stories. Work with support on issues raised by customers, providing advice and initial assessment of the problems. Work with UX designers to provide feedback on usability and design. Continuous improvement . Work closely with wider Engineering team to contribute to improvement initiatives. Embrace test automation and look at ways to improve test automation frameworks & tools. Continually look at other ways to improve speed to market & team efficiency. Job Description Skills & experience we are looking for: Experience in functional, integration, regression, performance, and scalability testing of distributed systems. Experience and skills in a delivery role, working closely with stakeholders and embedding in their teams. Experience in testing APIs with no front-end. Experience in writing Selenium automated tests. Experience in writing API automated tests. Basic coding experience, with Javascript being the most optimal. Experience in working within an Agile/Scrum development process. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes. Familiarity with tools; Jira, GitHub, Postman, GitLab Strong growth and proactive mindset. Excellent communication and collaboration skills Intrinsic passion for problem-solving. Qualifications Relevant skills and experience.
